Description
Dog Breed: Cattle Dog / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $250.00. Hi, I’m Bindo! I am a handsome, 60lb, 5.5 year old heeler/pitbull mix and I am ready for my forever family! I am a good boy, already potty trained and crate trained. I have also been through e collar training with my friends at K9 Behavior! They will tell you all about that, but basically, I’m a smart guy. I would love to be your best friend. Let’s go hiking together! Or we can just chill at home. I’m hay to be wherever you are. I will do best with kids over about 10. I am good with dogs and currently play with canine friends every day. I haven’t been around any kitties. If you think I could be the guy for you, apply to meet me today at bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
