Dog Breed: Shepherd / Husky / Mixed (short coat). Ruby Red is a 3-month-old female Shepherd/Husky mix. She was brought in by a kind lady who witnessed someone with a box of puppies giving them away at a local park. Ruby Red was only 6 weeks old when this happened. She has been at PAHS for a couple of months--getting healthy and old enough for adoption. Ruby Red has a black and tan coat; and she will be a medium sized adult dog. She is timid and shy but warms up to anyone who shows her kindness. Once she gets to know you; she is wide open with her playfulness! Ruby Red would be good with children and other dogs. She is a precious little sweetheart. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
