Here's Your Quick Peek: Olaf is a timid and sweet boy looking for someone to open up his little world. He trusts slow but fully once the ice is broken. He loves playing with his little friends! Please note - if you want to skip the text and go straight to the application, you can find the link here: .carolinapoodlerescue/application/ Must have: Another dog in the home, a family dedicated to teaching him everything he needs to know about pet life. Exercise: Olaf is young and will need walks and time outside to run around. Best with: Other dogs, time to settle in. Not ideal for: Big dogs, homes looking for a teddy bear small dog. Energy level: Olaf loves to play outside with his friends! He is young! Olaf is still learning about the big world and will need a family that will give him time and offer him patience. Right now he is nervous and timid and trusts slowly. He will need all training basics shown through love and time. Good with dogs: Yes, Olaf must have another small dog in the home with him. Good with kids: Olaf has never met children and we are unsure if their joy of life would be too much for him. We would only recommend children 15+ Cats: UNK Fun fact: Olaf in fact is not named after the snowman from Frozen. Potential Adopters Dogs can’t drive - and since we’re busy taking care of them, we can’t either! Please check your potential BFF’s location and make sure you’re comfortable traveling to meet them. Overview:
The elegant Maltese is a delightful toy breed renowned for its captivating beauty and charming personality. Originating from the island of Malta, these ancient dogs were once favored companions of European nobility. Physically, they are characterized by their single coat of long, silky, pure white hair that gracefully drapes over a compact, well-proportioned body, typically weighing between 4-7 pounds. Their expressive dark eyes and black button nose add to their adorable appeal. Temperamentally, Maltese are known for being affectionate, playful, and intelligent, making them highly trainable and eager to please. They thrive on human companionship and are generally excellent with children and other pets, provided they are socialized early. Their small size and relatively low exercise requirements make them ideal for apartment living and suitable for families of all types, including first-time dog owners. While generally healthy, potential owners should be aware of common breed-specific concerns such as dental issues and luxating patellas.
