Dog Breed: Unknown breed (medium coat). Meet Franklin! The vet estimates he is was born around September or October of 2025. His breed, well that is a bit of a mystery. But it's no mystery that he loves belly rubs! Franklin is a smart dog and will thrive with additional training. He is still young and eager to learn! If you’re interested in giving Franklin a fresh start, come meet him and see if he’s the right fit for you! Give Franklin a chance with our Foster-To-Adopt program . No strings attached. Take him home and see if he is a good fit with your lifestyle. We provide food and you provide the companionship! All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
