Dog Breed: Boxer / Mixed (short coat). Don't forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well. MEET ZOEY: YOUR TINY BOXER BESTIE ​Looking for all the Boxer personality in a smaller package? Meet Zoey, our 1-year-old "petite" Boxer! This girl may be small, but she has a huge heart and that classic Boxer zest for life that we all know and love. ​Zoey is a smart, loyal girl who is ready to find a "person" of her very own to love and protect. ​Why Zoey is a Total Catch: ​Well-Educated: Zoey is a star pupil! She has already been through training classes and knows her basic obedience. ​House Manners: She is both leash and crate trained, making her transition into a home much smoother. ​Adventure Buddy: Do you love road trips? So does Zoey! She is a huge fan of car rides and is always ready for the next destination. ​Loyal to a Fault: Zoey is the definition of a "one-person dog." She forms deep attachments and will be a devoted protector of the person she loves most. ​Boxer Energy: She’s always got the "wiggles"! Expect plenty of playfulness and typical Boxer enthusiasm!! ​The Ideal Home: Zoey is looking for a home where she can be the center of your universe. Adoption fee... $175, cash or credit card, includes spay/neuter, first shots and microchip.. If you already have a dog, bring them in with you for a 'meet and greet'. Mon.-Sat. 10-4 We understand not everyone can adopt a pet. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can't handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!)
