Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever. Meet Daisy Daisy is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever who is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She is a local owner surrender, and her family made the difficult decision to rehome her as her energy level and alert barking became overwhelming for an autistic adult child in the home as he got older. Daisy is a social, playful girl who loves being around people and has that classic Lab personality. She enjoys playtime, does well with other dogs, and is happiest when she has an outlet for her energy. What to know about Daisy: • House trained with a solid routine • Has obedience training and knows commands like sit, stay, come, down, heel, place, and leave it • Dog friendly and enjoys playing • Lived with older children and did well, can be a little rough during play • Medium to higher energy, benefits from regular exercise and structure • Will bark at people passing by the home and when visitors arrive • Can be sensitive to loud or sudden household noises (but this may be situtional to her previous home, and we will update as we get to know her more) Daisy would do best in a home that understands her energy and can provide structure, routine, and appropriate outlets. She is not a match for every household, but in the right environment, she is a fun, loving, and loyal companion. This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered.
