Description
Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois. Meet Mali. Mali is a female Malinois, 18 months old and somewhat of a unicorn in the Malinois breed. Mali has never met a stranger and loves to lean on her people for loving and pets. She is good with all dogs big and small but no kittys for this young lady. While not cat aggressive she is definitely a cat pest so your kitty would not appreciate that. She is definitely a velcro girl who loves nothing more then to be with her people making her not the right fit for someone who works long hours outside of the home . She is housebroken and has great house manners so no crate needed for this girl. Car rides and adventures are her love language and she'll happily entertain your company or kids with her hand shakes. Kids ..did we mention kids? This girl loves kids . She would also make an amazing obedience competition or scent dog as she loves to work and learn . She is both toy , ball and food driven. Must own a home with a fenced in yard and have breed experience.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
