Description
Dog Breed: Spaniel / Pointer / Mixed (short coat). Please contact Hayley Silverman (hayley.silvermanluckydoganimalrescue) for more information about this pet. Say yes-yes to Cece! CECE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Cece Best Guess for Breed: Spaniel/Pointer Mix Best Guess for Age: 5 years as of April 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 38 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs and kids! We haven't seen them with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Cece is Looking For: Cece is ready to “see‑see” everything! Trot through a bustling main street, take in the smells at a farmers market, or pause to investigate whatever catches her eye. She has a good nose for exploring and bursts of playful energy. One moment she’s relaxed and observant, and the next she’s zipping around with her signature Cece enthusiasm. She enjoys being part of the action, soaking up attention, finding comfy spots to unwind, and sharing her cheerful presence. With patience, kindness, and room for her spirited personality, Cece could become a delightful companion who brings both sweetness and spontaneous fun to her new family. What My Foster Says About Me: Cece is a happy, energetic girl who wants to be everyone’s friend. She comes bouncing over when I call her name, loves riding shotgun, and gently places her paw in my hand for scratches. She’s as sweet as they come. She knows sit and shake, even with distractions, and adores every person she meets—kids included. She does sometimes jump up for surprise kisses, so very young kids might find her enthusiasm a bit much. My kids (7, 11, and 12) are completely smitten, and we’re working on keeping all four paws on the ground. She’s settling in beautifully, gets along with both of our dogs, and hasn’t had any accidents (yet!). She goes to the back door with the others and has even started ringing the potty bells. She does well in her crate at night and loves chew toys and tug of war. She’s the perfect mix of energy, fun, and cuddles—ideal for someone wanting to skip puppy chaos but still have an active, eager‑to‑please companion. She’ll bring her forever family so much joy. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
