Dog Breed: Great Dane / Retriever / Mixed. Jackie is a 31-pound, 4.5-month-old Great Dane/Retriever mix who is a bundle of energy and cuteness. She’s a playful, rough-and-tumble pup who loves romping around with her foster sister, but after she’s just as happy to wind down with a cozy cuddle or nap on her own. She is a young girl and still working on potty training. Jackie is doing great in her crate with just a few minutes of whining before settling in for the night or a nap. Jackie currently lives with her foster mom, one dog, and two cats, and she gets along wonderfully with everyone. She would thrive in an active home where she can explore, play, and burn off her puppy energy. Given her breed mix, she’s expected to grow into a large dog and will benefit from plenty of exercise and engagement. She already walks nicely on a leash and, with her intelligence and eagerness to please, will continue to excel with consistent training. Because Jackie is likely to become a large, powerful dog, experience with big or giant breeds is required. She’s on her way to becoming a stunning companion and will do best in a home committed to guiding her growth with patience, structure, and lots of love.
