Description
Dog Breed: Pomeranian / Chihuahua / Mixed (long coat). Ready for Foster to Adopt! Meet Princess Buttercup Don’t let her tiny size fool you—Princess Buttercup is a big personality packed into an 8-pound body. At around 8 years old, this resilient little lady has already proven she’s equal parts survivor, sweetheart, and sass queen. After being found on the streets, Princess Buttercup received the full royal treatment at the shelter, including a dental, spay, and mammary mass removals. Recently she also had a full cardiac workup and got a great report! She’s come through it all beautifully and is now thriving in her foster home while she prepares for the final steps in her medical journey. She’s looking for a foster-to-adopt home willing to support her as she completes her remaining care. Princess Buttercup is not your “independent, low-maintenance” type—far from it. She’s a devoted companion who wants to be wherever her person is (preferably touching you, if she had her way). Her absolute favorite spot? Riding in a cozy sling where she can survey the world like the royalty she is. Whether you’re working at a coffee shop or relaxing at home, Buttercup is happiest by your side, keeping a watchful (and curious!) eye on everything around her. She currently lives with her foster brother, Galileo, and while she can be a bit feisty and refuses to back down during the occasional spat, it’s all part of her charm. Minutes later, they’re snuggled up together like best friends. Buttercup is social, spirited, and full of personality—she brings both spice and sweetness to every day. Princess Buttercup’s ideal home: Someone who wants a constant companion and true “velcro dog” A household ready for a confident, sassy little personality A family willing to continue supporting her medical needs as she finishes her recovery Bonus points if you enjoy bringing your dog along for outings—she certainly does! If you’re looking for a dog who will adore you endlessly, keep you entertained, and add a little royal flair to your life, Princess Buttercup might just be your perfect match. She’s brave, loving, a little dramatic—and completely unforgettable.

More About Chiranian BreedOverview:
The Chiranian, also affectionately known as a "Pomchi," is a charming hybrid breed resulting from the cross between a Chihuahua and a Pomeranian. Originating from designer breed efforts to combine the desirable traits of both parents, this small companion dog typically inherits a compact size, usually weighing between 4-10 pounds. Their physical appearance can vary, often featuring the long, soft coat of a Pomeranian in various colors, coupled with the alert, expressive eyes of a Chihuahua. Temperamentally, Chiranians are generally affectionate, lively, and intelligent, though they can exhibit a "big dog" personality in a small package, sometimes prone to being vocal. They are highly adaptable, making them an excellent choice for apartment living and can be suitable for families with older, respectful children. Health-wise, like many small breeds, they can be prone to dental issues, luxating patellas, and tracheal collapse, making regular veterinary check-ups essential for a long, happy life.
