I am all puppy :) I recently arrived in DDR, just starting my puppy journey to become a house pet. I'm working on house training and all those good things. I do not know any recall commands at this point so a fenced yard is a must for me. I don't understand the dangers of cars, trucks and roads. I have not mastered walking on a harness and leash at this point. I just got my first puppy groom, don't I look handsome ;) I will need regular grooming. This is what my foster mom says about me.... Playful, happy puppy. Does not fear much. His tail is always wagging and always wanting to play. He steals shoes and chews on them; for that matter he is always investigating and looking for something to play with or chew. Plants are all re-located as he will find them and pull off leaves. Overall, he is a very happy go-lucky puppy! He is 75% potty trained meaning he is very good about going out and doing his business. He does use potty pads if they are out. He sleeps in an expen with another pup and usually does not mind. If left alone he is not happy, but it usually does not last long. Expen has been clean of accidents most of the time. I do not leave a potty pad in with him as it just gets shredded. He is a good eater and will finish his kibble most every time unless there is something he needs to investigate. I am a LOCAL(Sioux Falls) Adoption Only until I finish my puppy vaccinations and am neutered May 26th (when I am 5 1/2 months old) Do you live in the Sioux Falls area and have love, patience, time and energy to work with a growing puppy like me? I am 4 1/2 months young, I currently weigh 6 pounds but am still a growing puppy, my adoption fee is $500 plus sales tax $22.50= $522.50 My adoption fee help with my vetting needs such as rabies, 3 DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, dental if needed if any retained puppy teeth and microchipping.

Overview:
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is an enchanting toy breed with a rich history, originating from the spaniels depicted in paintings of the 16th to 18th centuries and popularized by King Charles II. They are characterized by their gentle, affectionate temperament, making them exceptional companions. Physically, Cavaliers are small yet sturdy, typically weighing between 13-18 pounds, with a silky, medium-length coat that comes in various color patterns including Blenheim (chestnut and white), tricolor, black and tan, and ruby. Their signature features include a slightly domed head, large expressive eyes, and long feathered ears. Cavaliers are known for being adaptable and eager to please, thriving in both family environments and apartment living due to their moderate exercise needs and loving nature. They generally get along well with children and other pets, fitting seamlessly into most households. However, prospective owners should be aware of certain breed-specific health concerns, such as heart conditions (mitral valve disease) and syringomyelia, making regular veterinary check-ups crucial for their well-being.
