Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Cairn Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Chico! Age: Approximately 1 year old. Breed: chihuahua/Cairn terrier mix is our best guess. Size: est 15lbs Training: Crate trained, working on leash and house training and doing well. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to both. Good with kids/men/women? He can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly! Personality: once he warms up, he is friendly, affectionate, and playful. He will take time to adjust to a new home. Reason for rescue: Chico was being cared for by neighbors after the owner couldn't care for him. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations and preventatives. He did test positive for heartworms, and will go home with his necessary medications for treatment.
