Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Onyx is a playful pup who is currently with our partner rescue in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters. Meet Onyx Onyx is everything you love about puppies wrapped up in one adorable, wiggly package. Sweet, playful, and always ready for fun, he’s the kind of pup who brings energy and joy wherever he goes. Like his brother Jax, he’s a big fan of toys (the more, the better), loves a good splash in the kiddie pool, and is always up for an adventure—followed, of course, by some well-earned cuddle time. Onyx is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, making him a great fit for many homes. Like any young puppy, Onyx is still learning the ropes. He’s in that curious, chew-everything phase and will need a family willing to guide him with patience, consistency, and training. He may be a little bit of a handful right now—but that’s all part of the puppy charm. With the right home, Onyx is going to grow into an incredible, loyal companion who will keep you smiling every single day. Ready to bring home the fun? Ony can’t wait to meet you Onyx is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $550. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
