Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Terrier / Mixed. We will not know what life was like for Rhoda prior to coming into the southern shelter very afraid. We do know that once in a foster care Rhoda found her inner confidence and her little nub has not stopped wagging. Her loved bloomed with some tender loving care and now she is looking for a family to share that with. She is a one-year-old Australian Shepherd and weighs 25 pounds. She is a small girl with a big heart who is only looking forward and not back. Rhoda does well befriending other dogs and she adores children. We do not know if her friendly acceptance will extend to cats since she has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue. She is sure to make a great addition to the family that gets to love her everyday of her life. She promises to give it back in return. Rhoda is on the road to her journey of mastering her house, crate and leash training skills. She has taking baby steps and is making progress but will need the assistance of her family to make her a success. Her personality sparkles like a diamond in the sunlight. Rhoda will make her family happier than they knew that could be with all the love she has to give. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Rhoda is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
