Dog Breed: Dutch Shepherd / Rhodesian Ridgeback / Mixed. This girl was born to impress and impress she does. At 6 months old and 60 pounds it is hard for her not to make a big impression. Her name is Shona and she is a Dutch shepherd/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. She is a great girl on many levels. She has spent time with and has been fostered with several other dogs and children and she loves them all. She has some adorable puppy antics, and she welcomes everyone to join her in the fun. At this time, it is unknown if she would be open to a friendship with a cat as she has not been introduced to a cat since coming into rescue. A friendly gal like Shona always spreads joy. You cannot help but to smile in her presence. All of her training is in progress. She is working on the important skills of house, crate and leash training knowing it will make her family happy and proud. She is taking one day at a time. Shona has fun written all over her. She adores people and other animals and finds playtime with playmates a big draw. Settling in after a long day is also welcomed as Shona will gladly rest her head next to her humans. She is all about warmth and love that is just below the playful surface. To know Shona is to love her. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine.
