This adorable puppy has a big heart and an even bigger love for treats. Whether you’re teaching her new tricks or just rewarding her for being the good girl she is, she’s always eager to learn (especially if snacks are involved). She’s a huge fan of toys and can happily entertain herself tossing them around or inviting you to join in on the fun. From squeaky toys to chew bones, she approaches everything with curiosity and excitement. One of her best qualities is her love for other dogs. She thrives in the company of canine friends and would do wonderfully in a home with another playful pup or with regular opportunities for socialization. Her friendly and gentle nature makes her a great companion for both dogs and humans alike. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and treat-motivated puppy to brighten your days, she might just be your perfect match. Come meet her and see how quickly she’ll steal your heart! We do not have a facility for you to visit. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
