Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. Meet James Dean James Dean is an old soul and already a legend — just like the original. This handsome 11-month-old Cane Corso boy has the most beautiful blue brindle coloring and the sweetest heart to match. He is super dog friendly and would love a home with a large-breed female dog to be his buddy. James Dean is a pretty big, tall boy, so older kids would be the best fit for him. He is still young and growing, but he already has that gentle, soulful presence that makes him so special. He loves having his little teddy bear ears rubbed, and he definitely won’t turn down a good belly rub. His ideal home understands the Cane Corso breed, can give him structure, and will appreciate what a loving, loyal boy he is. James Dean is ready to find his forever family. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
