Description
Dog Breed: Border Collie / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $300. Hi! I’m Sullie I’m a 12-week-old lab/collie mix with one sparkly blue eye and one warm brown eye —basically built-in puppy magic if you ask me! I’m the kind of pup who loves being close to my people, following you around to “help,” and gently placing my paw on you when I think it’s time for attention (which is often). I’m curious, playful, and learning new things every day. I love toys, sunshine, and exploring the world one tiny adventure at a time. I’m also working hard on my puppy manners and doing my best to be a very good boy. Treats and praise help a lot—I’m smart and eager to please! I’d really love a home where I can: play and learn with my humans get lots of cuddles and belly rubs grow into the loyal best friend I’m meant to be People say my eyes are unforgettable, but I hope it’s my sweet heart that wins you over. If you’re looking for a gentle, fun, and loving sidekick, I think we might be perfect for each other. Apply today at bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Breed overview
Overview:
The Borador, a delightful cross between the intelligent Border Collie and the friendly Labrador Retriever, is a relatively new designer breed gaining popularity. Originating from the desire to blend the best traits of both parents, Boradors typically inherit a medium build, often with the Labrador's strong frame and the Collie's agile grace. Their coat can vary widely in color and texture, from short and dense to medium-length and feathery, usually requiring moderate grooming. Temperamentally, they are known for being loyal, energetic, and highly trainable, making them excellent companions for active families. They thrive in environments where they receive plenty of physical and mental stimulation, making them less suitable for small apartment living unless daily exercise is guaranteed. While generally healthy, potential owners should be aware of predispositions to conditions seen in their parent breeds, such as hip and elbow dysplasia or certain eye conditions, underscoring the importance of responsible breeding practices.
