Dog Breed: Basset Hound / Mixed. Meet Shiloh — the slow‑motion sweetheart with the smushiest face and the floppiest ears you’ve ever seen. This 4‑year‑old beagle–basset hound mix made his way to us all the way from Georgia. We don’t know how he ended up in a shelter, but we do know we’re incredibly grateful he’s here now, safe, loved, and ready for his next chapter. Shiloh is a low‑gear kind of guy — gentle, stubborn in the most endearing way, and fully committed to doing things at his own pace. We’ll be honest: he has required a few “chauffeured relocations” (yes, he’s been picked up and carried more than once when he decided he was done moving). But when you look at that face, those big soft ears, and that sweet little expression, how could anyone possibly hold it against him? He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys their company. And thanks to his calm, easygoing personality, we believe that with time and patience, he’ll do well with cats too. Shiloh is the kind of dog who makes you want to smush his cheeks, kiss the top of his head, and tell him he’s perfect exactly as he is. Because he is. If you’re looking for a mellow companion with a big heart, a stubborn streak, and a whole lot of charm, Shiloh might just be your guy. Shiloh's adoption fee is $200, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption.
