Dog Breed: Maltese / Poodle (Miniature) / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 300. ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to .secondchancedogrescue and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet boots! Boots is a 5-year-old Maltipoo weighing in at a perfect 10 lbs. This gentle little guy is the definition of a loving companion. Whether he’s curled up in your lap, snuggled beside you on the couch, or quietly keeping you company while you work, Boots loves being near his people. Boots has a calm, easygoing nature. He enjoys neighborhood walks and is great on a leash. While at home he enjoys playing with his toys in the house or sniffing around the backyard. Boots is both potty trained and crate trained, making him an easy addition to a new home. He also gets along well with other dogs and children, and would thrive with an individual, couple, or in a family environment. Boots has a spinal condition that causes weakness in his back legs. He is perfectly able to enjoy his walks and play around the house, he just gets tired after extended bursts of play. He also has trouble jumping up on couches and chairs and would do best in a home where he does not have to go up and down stairs a lot. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and affectionate companion, Boots might be your perfect match. He is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
