Description
Dog Breed: Border Collie / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $300.00. Meet Goomba! I am a fun-loving little guy with a big personality packed into an adorable, bouncy puppy body! ❖ 3-month-old male Lab mix puppy (foster mom thinks Border Collie too). ❖ Estimated 35-45 lbs full grown ❖ Great with kids and other dogs of all sizes ❖ Doing well in my crate overnight, especially when near my humans. ❖ Very smart and food motivated ❖ Doing well with potty training with frequent reminders I am the kind of pup who brings energy and joy wherever I go—always ready to play, explore, and make new friends. I would do well in both a home with furry siblings or as the center of your world. I am a total snugglebug. I love being close to you and would happily curl up next to you after a day of fun. I am very food motivated, which makes training a rewarding experience. I am getting more comfortable in my crate, though I'd much rather be by your side if given the choice. I am ready to bring laughter, love, and plenty of puppy cuddles into my forever home. Think I could be the puppy for you? Apply to meet me today at bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication

Breed overview
Overview:
The Borador, a delightful cross between the intelligent Border Collie and the friendly Labrador Retriever, is a relatively new designer breed gaining popularity. Originating from the desire to blend the best traits of both parents, Boradors typically inherit a medium build, often with the Labrador's strong frame and the Collie's agile grace. Their coat can vary widely in color and texture, from short and dense to medium-length and feathery, usually requiring moderate grooming. Temperamentally, they are known for being loyal, energetic, and highly trainable, making them excellent companions for active families. They thrive in environments where they receive plenty of physical and mental stimulation, making them less suitable for small apartment living unless daily exercise is guaranteed. While generally healthy, potential owners should be aware of predispositions to conditions seen in their parent breeds, such as hip and elbow dysplasia or certain eye conditions, underscoring the importance of responsible breeding practices.
