Description
Dog Breed: Maltese (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $300.00 Meet Chloe, the 6-year-old Maltese who is proof that the best things come in small, slightly bossy packages! ✨ Chloe is the ultimate "polite wallflower." She’s a sweet, timid soul who is perfectly happy to coexist with other dogs, though she’d much rather be your one-and-only focus than play tag in the yard. The Chloe Checklist:✅ Potty trained? Absolutely. She’s a lady.✅ Crate trained? You bet. It’s her private suite.✅ Leash skills? On point. She’s ready for her daily struts.✅ Personality? Growing by the day! While she started out shy, her "Sassy Side" has officially entered the chat. Chloe is learning that she likes things just so, and she’s looking for a dedicated personal assistant (a.k.a. a forever owner) to make sure her kingdom is run correctly. Her Dream Home:Chloe is looking for a quiet, "no-small-humans" sanctuary where she can be the world's best companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key best friend with a dash of diva energy, Chloe is your girl! Ready to let this tiny queen rule your heart? Apply to adopt her today! New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. If you would like to adopt this very special K-9 kid, please go DIRECTLY to our website to complete our convenient Online Adoption Form. Overview:
The elegant Maltese is a delightful toy breed renowned for its captivating beauty and charming personality. Originating from the island of Malta, these ancient dogs were once favored companions of European nobility. Physically, they are characterized by their single coat of long, silky, pure white hair that gracefully drapes over a compact, well-proportioned body, typically weighing between 4-7 pounds. Their expressive dark eyes and black button nose add to their adorable appeal. Temperamentally, Maltese are known for being affectionate, playful, and intelligent, making them highly trainable and eager to please. They thrive on human companionship and are generally excellent with children and other pets, provided they are socialized early. Their small size and relatively low exercise requirements make them ideal for apartment living and suitable for families of all types, including first-time dog owners. While generally healthy, potential owners should be aware of common breed-specific concerns such as dental issues and luxating patellas.
