Courtesy listing. In New England Autumn——Sweet sweet girl. If you’re looking for an in your pocket kinda girl look no further. She loves to be with her humans probably even more than her love of food! (And that is a lot ) Loves to take walks and use her beagle senses , does very well on a leash . But her nose does require her to have a fenced in yard. Gets along great with other dogs, cats and even bunnies. She does great with kids but probably best with older kids only because she will probably steal the littles snacks (never in a mean way) She has gained so much confidence and only looks for guidance and support. She loves being a good girl and looks for ways to please any way she can. She’s about 4 years old. Housebroken , knows how to sit and is the best lap warmer you could ask for! Fully vetted. In New England. More pictures and videos available, just email us! To apply, please fill out the adoption app: form.jotform/212690945239059 email apps.aasrgmail with any questions. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Overview:

The Beagle is a beloved scent hound with a rich history, originally bred in England for hunting hare and rabbit. Their most recognizable physical traits include a sturdy, compact build, adorable floppy ears, and soulful brown or hazel eyes. Beagles typically weigh between 18-30 pounds and stand 13-16 inches tall, featuring a smooth, dense coat that comes in a variety of tri-color or bi-color patterns. In terms of temperament, they are known for being exceptionally friendly, curious, and outgoing, making them wonderful companions for families with children and other pets. However, their strong prey drive and inclination to follow interesting scents mean they require a securely fenced yard and consistent leash training. While adaptable, their need for exercise and tendency to vocalize (howl!) makes them less ideal for small apartment living unless daily walks and mental stimulation are guaranteed. Regarding health, Beagles can be prone to certain conditions like hip dysplasia, epilepsy, and intervertebral disc disease, making responsible breeding and regular veterinary check-ups important.
