At just 15 to 16 weeks old, this adorable Shepherd/Lab mix is equally curious and cautiously brave. Teddy is still figuring out the world, taking notes from his foster brothers on all the important dog stuff like playtime, tail wags, and snacks. Teddy is making progress with both potty training and crate training and every day you can see his confidence growing. He’s still a bit skittish around loud noises and quick movements, but with patience, kindness and a lot of love you’ll watch him blossom into the loyal companion he’s meant to be. Teddy started out life in a less than stellar situation so it's amazing he's already gaining confidence at his foster house. Another dog is not required but would great for him but once he knows you and you gain his trust you will be his forever person If you’re looking for a sweet pup who just needs a gentle hand and a warm home, Teddy might be your guy. They must all be trained with positive reward based training and all are up to date with vaccinations, altered, microchipped, HeartWorm tested, and on preventatives. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
