Dog Breed: Chihuahua (medium coat). Iâm small, but thereâs a lot going on inside me. I really do love attention!! I just donât always know how to ask for it. Sometimes Iâll hover nearby, watching you, hoping you notice me without me having to be too bold about it. If you reach out first, though, I melt pretty quickly. Gentle pets, kind voices⦠thatâs my favorite kind of moment. Iâll come say hello, maybe wag my tail a little faster, maybe even stick close by your side like Iâve known you forever .Other dogs and people are actually really exciting to me, I just need a minute to build up my courage. Give me that space, let me warm up, and youâll see my friendly side shine through. Iâm trying, I promise. Every new experience helps me get a little braver. With a bit of patience and encouragement, Iâm learning that the world isnât so scary... and that itâs okay to step forward and ask for the love I want. Because once I do, I really, really enjoy it.
