Description
Dog Breed: Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie / Mixed. Olaf is a handsome Yorkshire Terrier mix in a jumbo 23-pound package—he’s as striking as he is unique. Olaf will need an experienced home as the only pet, as he doesn’t do well with other dogs or cats. At 5 years old, he’s still active and full of personality. He does well in a crate and stays accident-free, though he may mark at first and will need supervision and consistency. Olaf loves people and is very social, but like many small dogs, he can be a bit stubborn and needs clear boundaries. If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). Adoption fee is $215 with approved application, applications can be filled out at this link. .petstablished/adoption_form/10167/generic .We cannot guarantee breed or size when full grown.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
