Description
Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Collie / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Popeye! This fun-loving, loyal sidekick is 18 months old and 41 lbs as of 4/19/2026. He was rescued from a city shelter and is now resting comfortably in foster care while waiting for his forever home! Popeye’s story started with heartbreak- he was found abandoned overnight in front of the shelter- but you would never know it from his happy, playful personality. He’s full of life, love, and that perfect mix of puppy energy and cuddle time. Whether it’s a game of chase, a long walk, or curling up next to you after a day of fun, Popeye is all in. He walks nicely on a leash, appears to be crate trained, and is eager to learn. With a little structure, consistency, and positive training, Popeye is going to shine as a well-mannered, devoted companion. Popeye is looking for a home where he can truly thrive. He does best with female dogs only and is not a match for homes with male dogs or small dogs. A meet and greet is recommended to ensure the best fit. Popeye is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his rabies and core vaccinations, and heartworm negative- he’s healthy and ready to go home. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate dog who will keep you active, make you laugh, and be your loyal best friend, Popeye is ready to meet you. His adoption fee is $275 Please apply online and we'll be in touch Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society Meet Popeye – Your Fun-Loving, Loyal Sidekick Popeye is an 11-month-old Lab/Collie mix (41 lbs) who is ready to leave shelter life behind and finally find the family he’s been waiting for.
