Dog Breed: Jack Russell Terrier / Fox Terrier / Mixed. Meet Roxie! Roxie is a 5-year-old terrier mix weighing about 30 pounds, and she’s the perfect blend of sweet, chill, and just the right amount of playful. She has a wonderful personality—friendly, well-mannered, and loves nothing more than being close to her people. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Snuggling on the couch or curling up next to you? Even better. If she’s lucky enough to sleep in the bed, she’ll happily burrow under the covers and make herself right at home. Roxie gets along great with other dogs and settled in beautifully from day one. She’s also been around children (including a 6-year-old) and has done very well. She’s easygoing and adaptable, making her a great fit for many different homes. She’s doing great with house training and will even let you know when she needs to go out—smart girl! She can use a crate but would much rather be lounging on a cozy dog bed, the couch, or anywhere soft and comfy. Roxie rides well in the car, loves her treats (peanut butter is a favorite!), and enjoys a little playtime here and there—even if that occasionally includes a joyful roll in the dirt . Overall, she’s one of the most relaxed, easy dogs you’ll meet and not much of a barker. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
