Description
Dog Breed: Poodle (Standard) (medium coat). Meet Sammie! Sammie is a friendly standard poodle that is just under 1 year old (6/19/2025 DOB). He was surrendered to Legacy Humane because his family has a child with major medical needs that kept them from giving Sammie the attention he needs. Sammie is high energy, and we are working on basic training. He seems to be house trained. He is VERY SMART and is quickly picking up new commands and expectations. He will need further training. He is crate trained. He loves playing with people, other dogs, and toys. He does great with kids and easy going dogs. We think he would be OK with cats. He doesn't always know his size which some people/ dogs may not like. We expect to complete his vetting next week, and will update as we learn more about sweet Sammie. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
