Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed. Meet Macy Mae! Macy is a loving, loyal girl who is looking for the right home to help her thrive. She bonds deeply with her people and enjoys being part of the family. Macy loves walks, playing fetch, chewing bones, cuddling under the covers, and snuggling with warm clothes fresh from the dryer. She’s also potty trained and will scratch at the door when she needs to go out. Macy has lived with other dogs and generally does well, especially with playful companions. Macy is wonderful with her own family and children she knows, but she has shown protective/reactive behavior toward visiting children and guests in the home. Because of this, Macy will need an experienced, adult-only home or a home with older children who understand boundaries, along with a family committed to structure, management, and helping her feel secure.
