Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed. Hi there! My name is Gordita and I am 2.5 years old. I am a sweet little gal that was found with my siblings, Chalupa and Cantina, at a laundromat in Warsaw and no one came forward to claim us. Shortly after arriving to AWL, I was taken to an adoption event at Toyota of Warsaw and I did so well with the other dogs there and the kiddos that came to meet me! In fact, I spent most my day hanging out with a little girl that loved to walk me around. Because I did come in as a stray, staff has little background on me, meaning they don't quite know if I am housetrained. However, my sister, Cantina, recovered from surgery in a foster home, and they mentioned she is housetrained and signals at the door to go! There is a good chance I will do the same! As you might be able to see from my photos, I do have cherry eye, those little red lumps in the corners of my eyes. If the shelter removed those, I would have to have eye drops everyday for the rest of my life, and there would be a possibility of them returning if not taken care of properly. Since my cherry eye is no minimal and not affecting me or my vision at this time, AWL is going to leave them.
