Dog Breed: Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie / Dachshund / Mixed (short coat). Meet Topanga! She is one very lucky little girl!! At 9 pounds, she was dumped in the hills of Topanga Canyon and was on the loose for 6 days. Dog Days Search and Rescue who we partner with, set up traps in the area to try to rescue her. After seeing Coyotes and bobcats on the trap cameras- we feared the worst for little Topanga. Miraculously, on the 6th night- she showed up at the trap and was finally rescued!!! She is such a precious little girl. She is about 1 1/2 years old. She loves other dogs. She is a little shy with men, but once she warms up to her people- she is like velcro and won't leave your side. Our adoption fee is $600 which helps offset some of the costs of her spay, shots, microchip and work to rescue her.
