Gets Along With: Other dogs!! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Wendy is Looking For: Wendy is looking for a loving family to take her on long walks and give her a cozy place to call home. This sweet pup is ready to share quiet moments, little adventures, and plenty of tail wags along the way. All she needs is someone to love her forever—and maybe a few extra treats, too. What My Foster Says About Me: First and foremost, Wendy is a lovebug. She loves love. Wendy only wants to snuggle and be in your lap, and it seems like she might stay small enough to keep pretending to be a lap dog forever. She LOVES a belly rub. Wendy gets compliments everywhere she goes. She is a looker and is stunning with the all-black coat and white streak, with a cute floppy ear! She is the textbook definition of dog who is ready to learn, figure out boundaries, sniff everything and be your best friend. She is high energy but also SO chill for a puppy, is happy with her crate and sleeps well through the night. Her house training is impeccable. She is learning sit and down and will offer them on her own all the time. She arguably prefers human affection as a reward over treats. She loves a long walk but will happily play inside as well. To get your attention, she'll lie down and just wait for some snuggles. Whoever adopts Wendy first is truly going to have their dream dog, and we can’t wait for her to find her a loving, forever home!! She is clearly a once-in-a-lifetime dog. We’ve only had her a short time and it’s clear as day that with a little time to build confidence and a strong bond, she’ll follow your lead wherever you go.
