Dog Breed: Black Mouth Cur / Mixed. Lena is a 5-month-old, 35 lb shepherd mix who is as sweet and easygoing as they come. Dumped at a volunteer&rsquo;s home down south, she&rsquo;s now safe in New Jersey and ready for a fresh start. Lena is a wonderful puppy &mdash; affectionate, gentle, and a little goofy in the best way. She loves being close to her people and is always eager to please. She&rsquo;s house trained, crate trained, and already showing great manners for her age. Lena is friendly with dogs and cats, and with proper supervision (as with any puppy), she&rsquo;ll do well with children too. With her even temperament and loving personality, Lena is going to make an incredible family dog.
