Description
Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois / Mixed. Age: 7 months Breed: Belgian Malinois Mix Sex: Female, Spayed Weight: 40 pounds About: Curious, smart, and eager to learn…all amazing qualities to have in a dog and Finn matches them all. Finn was surrendered with her other siblings who have already found their forever homes. However, because Finn and her sister Princess are not traditional colors, they have been looked over every time. Finn’s Mom was a Belgian Malinois but they were unsure what the dad was. But that doesn’t matter to us, because we love her just the same! Finn is learning how to walk on a leash and her basic commands. She will need someone with the patience and willingness to continue to help her become the best dog she can be. She loves kids and enjoys running and playing with all the dogs in her playgroup! (5/5/26) Hope Dogs Lower Fees. Adoption $300.00, Transport: $100.00 **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed $160 We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
