Description
Dog Breed: Siberian Husky / Great Pyrenees / Mixed (long coat). This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Peanut Butter, the four-month-old Pyrenees/Husky/GSD mix (per DNA test) who is equal parts photogenic supermodel and enthusiastic lovebug, and she is absolutely ready for her forever home to discover just how irresistible she truly is! Those expressive eyebrows give her a personality all their own, and she has a smile for the camera that honestly seems too good to be accidental for a puppy who has barely been on this earth for four months. At around 30 pounds and still growing, Peanut Butter already knows sit, down, and off, is motivated by food and treats, and picks up new skills with the eagerness of a dog who genuinely wants to impress you. She is comfortable and quiet in her crate, walks on a leash with minimal tugging, and travels well in her crate in the car. She can be a little nervous in brand new situations, but she warms up quickly! Peanut Butter loves playing outside, chasing balls, roughhousing with dog friends, and then melting into a snuggly lap puddle when the fun winds down. She enjoys children and friendly dogs, though she is still working on keeping her excitement at a manageable level around both. With consistent training she is going to be absolutely exceptional, and her eagerness to please makes her a wonderful first dog for someone excited about the training journey. She would thrive in an active home with room to run, whether that means a yard, hiking trails, or a canine sibling to play with. If you are looking for a smart, sweet, and stunning adventure partner who will make you laugh every single day, Peanut Butter is your girl! Breed overview
Overview:
The Pyrenees Husky, a captivating crossbreed of the Great Pyrenees and Siberian Husky, originated from a desire to blend the best traits of both parent breeds. These striking dogs typically boast a medium to large build, featuring a dense, often bi-colored coat that can range from a fluffy double coat to a more medium-length texture, with striking blue or multi-colored eyes being common. Temperamentally, they are known for being intelligent, affectionate, and generally good-natured, often exhibiting the Great Pyrenees' calm loyalty combined with the Husky's playful energy. While they can be wonderful family companions due to their gentle disposition and patience with children, their size and exercise requirements make them less suitable for cramped apartment living. Prospective owners should be aware of potential health considerations common to the parent breeds, such as hip and elbow dysplasia and certain eye conditions, emphasizing the importance of responsible breeding and regular veterinary check-ups for these magnificent dogs.
