Description
Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Yarrow #1 finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails) . Yarrow | 11-week-old mixed breed | A cuddly little goofball with puppy prance Yarrow is everything people love about puppies: adorable, playful, affectionate, and wonderfully goofy. This handsome brown, black, and white boy loves toys, chew bones, walks, belly rubs, and snuggling up for naps after a good round of zoomies. He’s especially fond of resting his head on his people, offering his paw for attention, and prancing around the house with his happy puppy energy. At just 11 weeks old, Yarrow is already making great progress with training. He knows how to use a dog door, is doing very well with potty training, and mostly just has the occasional excitement pee while he continues learning. He sleeps through the night in his crate and, while he may bark or whine a little when left alone at first, he settles down and improves more every day. Yarrow is highly food motivated and eager to please, which makes him smart and fun to train. He’s currently working on commands like “come” and “off,” and responds really well to praise, treats, and playtime. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play, though he can sometimes be a little too enthusiastic for smaller or older dogs who aren’t interested in puppy antics. He’s wonderful with kids, friendly with everyone he meets, and has a medium energy level that balances playful fun with lots of cuddle time. After a walk or play session, he’s more than happy to curl up next to his people and relax. Like any puppy, Yarrow is still working through normal puppy behaviors like jumping, play biting, and whining when left alone. His ideal home will be one that understands the time, patience, and consistency puppies need as they grow into great adult dogs. In return, Yarrow will reward his family with endless affection, entertainment, and loyalty. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $475 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit). Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
