This happy-go-lucky guy is all about people and believes every face deserves a proper greeting… preferably with enthusiastic kisses. Nacho Libre is social, affectionate, and always ready to lean in close for cuddles after a fun walk or adventure. He’s curious about the world around him, including other dogs and even cats, and approaches life with a cheerful, “Hey, what’s going on over here?” attitude. On walks, Nacho is a medium puller but overall a great walking buddy who’s excited to get out and explore with his favorite humans. What really makes Nacho special is his joyful energy. He has the kind of personality that fills up a room (and probably your personal space, too). Whether he’s trotting along on a walk, asking for affection, or delivering surprise face washes, this boy is guaranteed to keep you smiling. Nacho has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
