Description
Dog Breed: Miniature Schnauzer / Mixed (long coat). Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! Updated: 6/30/26 Dog Name: Penelope Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Mini Schnauzer Mix Approximate Age: 7-8 years Approximate Weight: 22 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed Litter: Bridgerton Family Adoption Fee: $550 Description: Penelope and her Schnauzer family of 4 was saved hours before euthanasia! Penelope has caught up on her vetting and was groomed so she is feeling much better now! Penelope has been sweet and excited to see everyone she has met; not taking long to warm up! Penelope does well with other dogs, especially ones her size! She gets a little anxious meeting big dogs on a leash who are too enthusiastic for her. She also LOVES kids! She does great on a leash, is housebroken, and crate trained making her ready for any family! Plus, she is great in the car. Now that this sweet, loving, and cuddly girl has nothing to worry about, she is just looking for love! Penelope is ready to find her forever home in WI where she can go on regular walks and spend time outside and of course get in her daily naps! Her adorable little snores will win you over! We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433 ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out.
