Odie is a handsome 9-year-old Shepherd/Mastiff mix weighing approximately 95 pounds who is looking for a loving forever home to enjoy his golden years. He was surrendered to Rockwall Adoption Center after his previous family moved and was unable to take him along. Odie is a friendly, easygoing boy who has never met a stranger. He is wonderful with children and does great with pets at dog park settings but in a home setting, he will need to be the only pet. Now in his senior years, Odie is looking for a calm, low-key lifestyle filled with the simple things he loves most—short walks, cozy naps, and relaxing days spent with his people. He would make an excellent companion for someone looking for a loyal, laid-back best friend. Odie's adoption fee is $125, which includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, annual core vaccines, and heartworm test. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
