After his family lost their home in a fire, Astro recently found himself in an overcrowded rural Georgia shelter with no idea what would come next. It didn’t take long for him to win over every staff member with his gentle nature, soulful eyes, and those irresistible ears that seem to have a personality all their own. Despite everything he’s been through, Astro greets the world with kindness. He absolutely loves other dogs and thrives on making new canine friends. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or simply sharing space with another pup, Astro is happiest with companionship nearby. Astro is also a friend to the felines, making him a great addition to a multi-pet household. He’s affectionate, loyal, and happiest right by your side. He's easy going and has a wonderful calming presence. Once he's comfortable, you'll see his playful side come out too, where he enjoys romping around the yard and taking a dip in a kiddy pool.
