Dog Breed: Maltese / Poodle (Miniature) / Mixed. Available for Adoption — Meet Pixie! Pixie and her three puppies came to our rescue as owner surrenders. Owner did not have the means to care for them. While much of her past remains unknown, it was clear she hadn’t experienced much kindness. Her coat was severely matted, and she would flinch whenever a hand reached toward her — even for food or gentle affection. With patience, positive reinforcement, soft touches, and lots of praise, Pixie has begun to blossom into the sweet and loving dog she was always meant to be. Every day she grows more confident, allowing her happy, playful personality to shine through. Pixie is a quiet, easygoing girl with wonderful manners. She is obedient, well-behaved, gentle, and eager to please. She would thrive in a loving home with a yard where she can safely explore, play, or simply relax beside her favorite person. She would do well as an only pet or with other fur siblings to play and share life with. She enjoys outdoor time, cozy laps, and being part of a calm, caring family. Pixie is: Crate trained, Potty trained, Learning leash skills, Great with kids 6 plus as littles could scare her and good with other dogs. Her experience with cats is unknown, but with a slow and proper introduction, she may do well. Pixie has come so far and is ready for a forever family who will continue showing her the love and security she deserves. She has had 2 vet visits, is spayed, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and a 1 fecal tests. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa AZ near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours 7 days/week. Private message if interested!
