She recently had a meet-and-greet with me with a woman and her young child, and she was an absolute superstar. Her sweet, easygoing demeanor makes her a perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal, peaceful best friend. ?? Quick Facts: Personality: A total lover girl, incredibly affectionate, and a professional cuddler. Energy Level: Low-key and calm -this may change as she begins to feel better. But for now, her favorite activity is leaning into you for full-body hugs. ?? A Quick Note on Her Health: Wren is currently recovering from a mild Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) and is taking her medication like a champ. Even though she's been a little under the weather, her resilient, loving spirit hasn't wavered for a second! She could use a safe place to recover, and very much deserves that! ?? In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics.
