Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed. Hi there! I'm Klaus and I am 2 years old! I am a sweet boy that is a little shy to meet people, but then I LOVE you when I realize we are best friends. And trust me, we will be best friends. I was brought into the shelter as a stray that was sitting in a ditch in the rain, and a good Samaritan picked me up. No one claimed me, so now I am ready for adoption! I love to play with other dogs, and I am pretty submissive to them. I really enjoy playing with Athena, a female German Shepherd here at the shelter. I try and try to chase her, but she is much faster than me. Anyway, I love playing with tennis balls and rope toys... squeaky toys! All the toys! When I was cat tested, I was pretty interested in meeting a cat but when he got upset with me, I got scared... Since I have been such a good boy, I have been to a couple adoption events!
