Description
Dog Breed: Shih Tzu. Cafe Mocha is an absolutely darling girl, as sweet and friendly as they come. She is a beautiful Shih Tzu, about 7 years old and 11-12 pounds. We quickly discovered she had bladder stones when she arrived. She has been receiving conservative treatment with medication and prescription diet, in an attempt to dissolve the stones. The great news is that, after 2 months of this treatment, the stones have significantly reduced in size. The vet is fairly confident that, with continued treatment, the stones will dissolve and she will not need surgery. Cafe Mocha is feeling so much better than when she arrived. She is bright and happy, and is enjoying all her cuddling and playtime with our staff and volunteers. Cafe Mocha is easy going and loves to spend time snuggling in a cozy lap. She also walks nicely on a leash, and gets along with other nice, easy going dogs. What a joy to see her energetic and having fun, after the suffering she has endured.
