Dog Breed: Shih Tzu / Mixed. Dempsey (TX) is a male Shih Tzu mix who was estimated by our veterinary partner to be 3 year old at the time of intake in May 2026. Dempsey is good with people and other dogs. Dempsey was picked up from animal control, covered in sores from matting and hundreds of fleas. He's healing and is now looking for a forever home that will protect him and love him. He's about 12 lbs, perfect for city living or the suburbs.
