Name: Jaylin Best Guess for Breed: Retriever and terrier mix mix Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of June 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 30 lbs as of 5/19/26 - is still growing! Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home. Jaylin is Looking For: Her forever home! Jaylin and her sisters Jayla and Jodie had fun growing up together but they're ready to split up and get their own homes. This sweetie is eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And she'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved. In exchange she promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags she's storing up, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Jaylin the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: Jaylin is doing great! She is just the happiest little wigglebutt! She is medium energy. At home she alternates between chewing on toys (she loves Benebones especially), playing chase/wrestling with her foster brother, and snuggling with me on the couch. I’ve left her at home in the crate a few times and she did fine. She gets very excited for mealtime and treats - definitely food motivated! I’ve taken her to the dog park once so far and she did great with everyone. She was friendly to the other dogs, and kept approaching people for more pets and attention. Jaylin will definitely bring lots of of joy and snuggles to her future family! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
