Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Mixed. A SWEET & HANDSOME FELLOW: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 18 lbs. Hi there! My name is Simon! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m so glad they brought me into the Mostly Mutts family. I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers here and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my very own. I think that is the best news ever! Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, but I did come in with a few other dogs. At the shelter, I can sometimes be a bit reactive when I see dogs. I’ll be tested with other dogs soon. So, if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I can be a little timid at first, but I’m very sweet and warm up with a little patience. Once I feel comfortable, my playful side comes out - I’ve had the zoomies in the play yard and even like hopping up on the bench! I can be a bit jumpy around unfamiliar people or new things, but it’s easily managed and usually just part of my playful, curious nature. I wasn’t a fan of the bath sprayer, though I handled the rest of my bath like a champ. I was pretty scared during my photo shoot, but with time and kindness, my sweet personality really shines. / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I don’t recall if I know any commands yet, but I am new to leash walking. I’ll be tested to see what I know soon. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s do some training together. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’m doing well with my potty manners on the shelter schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I’m interested in toys, love running around the play yards at Mostly Mutts, and enjoy playing with the nice volunteers. Once I’m settled into my new home, I’m sure we’ll discover even more fun things to enjoy together! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. You may notice that I have some tear staining, but there are over-the-counter products that you can try to help with this. I’m a sweetie who is looking for a kind and gentle family that will love and take great care of me! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
