Weighing around 7 pounds, this precious little boy is the perfect size for snuggles and loves being close to his people. With his soft coat, soulful eyes, and gentle nature, he’s impossible not to fall in love with. He is incredibly affectionate and happiest when he’s curled up in your lap soaking up attention and cuddles. This sweet boy is full of puppy charm and would make the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loving best friend. Deno is up to date on his vaccine and his adoption fee is $300 plus a $50 neuter deposit. If you’re searching for a tiny puppy with a huge heart, this handsome little guy is ready to bring endless love, kisses, and happiness to his forever family! Our hospital is open for adoption visitation Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00pm and Saturday's from 8:00am to 11:00am. Prior to meeting an adoptable animal we do require an approved application to be on file, sorry for this inconvenience. Cat adoption fees are $50 for kittens under 16 weeks of age and $75 for kittens/cats over 16 weeks of age. Dog adoption fees are $150 for puppies under 16 weeks of age and $175 for dogs over 16 weeks of age.

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
