Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications. You must come to the shelter in person to meet the PAHS pets. Hazel is a 10-month-old female Lab mix who will need to be spayed before adoption. She was brought to PAHS by county animal control and is white with big, bold, beautiful tan spots. Weighing just 34 pounds, she’s considered a medium-sized dog. Hazel has a sweet personality and can be quite entertaining—like the time she refused to stand for her photos no matter what we tried, firmly sticking to her decision. She’s a loving, gentle girl who gets along well with dogs and children. And yes, she has four legs; she just didn’t feel like showing them off on picture day. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative. *****Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications.
